How to install MaXUC (formerly Accession Communicator)

MaXUC allows users to make and receive calls using Voice over IP (VOIP) from a variety of devices.

Use the following link corresponding to the type of device you use:

After installing MaxUC, open the application and you will be asked to choose a phone carrier, choose Everstream.

Note: Everstream may not appear alphabetically, check the bottom of the list if you have trouble finding this option.

When prompted enter your ten-digit phone number and your Commportal password.  This is not your HU email or campus portal password.

Your device will request access to the camera, microphone, and contacts. You may also be prompted to provide your cell phone number in order to swap calls between cellular data and cellular voice.

Refer to the attached PDF guides for more information.

If you do not know your Commportal password, you may request a password reset. Send a new message from your HU email to helpdesk@huntington.edu

Please include your ten-digit phone number when requesting a new password.
