Clear Old Outlook Passwords after Password Reset

Attached is a document with steps on how to use the Microsoft Credential Manager to clear old Outlook Passwords after changing your HU password.

  1. Make sure you close out of Outlook
  2. Click on the Start Menu button
  3. Start typing “Credential Manager”
  4. A search result showing Credential Manager should appear. Click on it to open the Credential Manager
  5. In the credential manager, click on Windows Credentials
  6. Click on any entries that mention Outlook or Office and then click on remove
  7. Open Outlook as normal. When you open Outlook, you should be prompted for your new password.
