Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What’s this Google Authenticator tab for?
A: That’s another way to do multi-factor authentication, a way to make your account even more secure! We have not currently tested this feature thoroughly, but if you would like to help us pilot this feature, please contact huhelpdesk@huntington.edu.
Q: The web page I bring up doesn’t look like your pictures! What’s wrong?
A: Please try using Firefox or Chrome to use the Huntington University ID Tool.
Q: Does this tool work from off campus?
A: Yes, it works both on and off campus.

Q: Can I use the tool even if I haven’t registered?
A: You can unlock your account without registering, but resetting your password requires you to register your account beforehand.
Q: Why do I have to enter the code in the picture so many times?
A: Each time you enter the code you are confirming to the system that you are not an automated script trying to break into your account. Our data security is important, right?
Q: I didn’t register and can’t get into my HU email account to get my verification code. How do I unlock my account?
A: You will need to submit a request to huhelpdesk@huntington.edu or give the helpdesk a call at 260-359-4357.
