How to rename an Apple (Mac) Computer

1. Open the terminal application while logged in as an Administrator.
2. Type "sudo scutil --set ComputerName "INSERTNAME", minus the quotes and press enter. If it asks for a password type in your Administrator password.
3. Type "sudo scutil --set HostName "INSERTNAME", minus the quotes and press enter.
4. Type "sudo scutil --set LocalHostName "INSERTNAME", minus the quotes and press enter.
