Enabling network devices on ports in the residence halls

You will need the Wi-Fi (MAC) address from your device. If you are not sure where to find it, consult your device's manufacturer.

On another device already connected to HU_Secure Wi-Fi, go to http://devices.huntington.edu

1. Sign in with your HU Username and Password
2. Select Create Device
3. Enter the MAC address from the device you need to connect in the MAC address field
4. Give your new device a name and choose the closest device type, select Wireless Printer if none apply.
5. Check the box next to Terms of Use and then click Create.
6. Plug your new device either into the wall port or into one of the two blue Ethernet ports on the access point which is on the wall in your room. 

At this point, the device should get a valid network address and should connect properly. If not, please let us know at helpdesk@huntington.edu so that we can investigate further.
